Human Remains Detection

Our cadaver dogs are trained to detect the odor of human decomposition. They are certified to assist with the following:

•  Full and partial body recoveries (surface, buried, fire scenes, displacement)

• Cold cases (skeletal remains. scatter)

• Crime scenes (locating, minimal source detection/additional evidence, transfer, forensic) 

• Vehicles

• Shoreline (bodies of water, rivers/streams)

• Light disasters/structure collapse

Every human remains search is treated as criminal due to the nature of these cases. Confidentiality and preservation is of the upmost importance as handlers have experience in high profile cases to include court room testimony.
