Midwest Search Dogs are available for call out 24/7. These services are free of charge with the goal of being en route within 1 hour of activation.
To ensure the highest quality resources are utilized, our team trains and certifies to the highest best practice standards in the country. Members and K9s are required to be certified to these standards prior to deployment.
Each member deployed will be certified at minimum with the following:
CPR/AED/First Aid
IC - 100
IC - 200
IC - 700
IC - 800
Crime Scene Preservation
Hazmat Awareness Level
Blood Borne Pathogens
Weapons of Mass Destruction
NASAR SARTECH II Ground SearchÂ
K9 First Aid
16 hours per month training time
Each K9 deployed will be certified at minimum with the following:
AKC Canine Good Citizen or equiv.
State or national certification in the K9's trained discipline.
